I want to put reality into education and how important it is for our well-being. What you may find here are specific online courses, within many fields, that you can either study for pleasure or for economic benefits. In addition you will find information and suggestions concerning other issues that may affect our well-being

Some background history

I have travelled to many corners of the world and have experienced many different cultures, but have found that humans are the same everywhere once you scratch a bit on the “surface” and get to the under laying person. Regardless of language, race or religion.

Borne in Norway,

my childhood dream was to see the world as a sailor and I made an agreement with my father that I could “go to sea” after I passed my secondary exams and filled 16.

I went through an express education and passed the exams while I was still 15. Then, 10 days after I filled 16 I signed on with a cargo ship and began my journey.

My experiences could probably fill a book but that would be too much for this introduction.

I got wiser

To make a long story short, after a few years I went ashore to continue my formal education.

Working and studying I graduated as an electronics and electrical engineer, and was involved in developing various automation equipment and solving electrical and electronics problems for others in various countries. This work required a study of ways to implement new electronic devices like digital modules including microprocessors when they became available.

The first IT devices I became familiar with were machines programmable by binary codes. (I have been living a while)

My journey in the education industry

I was asked to step in as a teacher in a secondary school and found this to be a great way of helping people and continued on to teach in secondary and tertiary institutions.

I found, however, that the way education was done was, in many ways, killing the imaginary minds of many students and instead of giving them a base for the future, it made a lot of “losers”.

This led me back to the university to learn more about modern, and different, ways of educating individuals.
I became more aware of project based teaching and introduced this to the institutions I was working with, and with very positive results.

Awakening Concerning Wellness

Over the past few years I have become more and more aware of the lack of sincerity in the industries who are supposed to take care of our health and wellness.
The pharmaceutical industry I have found to be more than 90% pure money mongering business. The large players behind the industry are only there to earn money on products that we, most of the time, don’t need, or which are directly destroying our health.

Hospitals, doctors and other “health care” players are not much different.
They are making a living from public sufferings, just like many multinational “ready-made” food and beverage companies.
I have seen too many examples of their lack of sincerity and are getting very sad when receiving so much information on their true identity.

My way to ONLINE education

After some years I retired and went back to South-East-Asia where I had stayed for some time earlier. I helped out as an educator in some countries, mainly in Singapore, but tried to retire again. Hopefully I can spend my “golden age” going back to my roots, in Norway.

However, helping to give people more knowledge has always been one of my passions and therefore now involving myself in online education.

I am hoping to make a positive difference in somebody’s life.

All the best for your future endevaours.
